My name is Elise McIlhaney and I am a senior History major and Archaeology/MARS minors. By virtue of that, I have done a lot of historical research that includes looking through primary sources like hagiographies, popular histories, criminal trial records, treatises, and newspapers, to name a few. For this project, I would like to delve back into primary sources to help flesh out the setting of the game, especially with regards to the buildings and their relationships to one another. A particular interest for me is studying and recreating historical spaces that feel the way they once did, and I hope to do more of that in order to flesh out the game environment. In return, I hope to gain more experience in different kinds of historical research using different types of sources to find different types of evidence and information.
